Good Morning –

 

Today is a Blue Day.  The periods will run D Exam, B1 Exam, C1 Class, A1 Class

 

Students – this Friday, the 21st, is a half day.  The Library Media Center will close at

There will be an after school meeting on Tuesday, January 24th for the Student Council.  All members are encouraged to attend.                                                 (Ms. Krebs/Ms. Ziomek)

 

Are you ready for some football???  The Apollo Team can help to prepare you.  We are currently taking Hillside Pizza and Cookie Dough orders.  The sale is until Wednesday, January 25th.  You will be able to pick up your order – just in time for the Super Bowl – on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Frontier Middle School Entrance from 2:15 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.  The proceeds will support the Apollo trip to Gettysburg in June.  See any Apollo student to place your order. Attention Grades 10-12:  Put on your dancing shoes – the Senior class invites you to the Winter Semi-Formal.  The dance will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012.  It will be at the Deerfield Elementary School from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.  Tickets will be on sale during lunch until Wednesday, January 25th – tickets MUST be purchased in advance.  Tickets are $ 10.00 each and includes the dance and food.  If you plan on bringing a guest that is not a current Frontier student in Grades 10-12, you must fill out a guest form and submit it to Mr. Modestow BEFORE that night.  Guest forms are available in the Main Office.                   (Mrs. Wozny)

 

Next Wednesday, the Friends of Rachel Club will be sponsoring a massive Valentine making project for veterans.  We’re looking for students and adults to gather their supplies and drop by

Room A307 to help out with this project.  We hope you’ll come and help!  Can’t make it after school?  Make one at home or during Advisory and drop it by Room A307 or A207.

On February 3rd, students who are considering a career in health care, may go to Greenfield Community College for Medical Encounter Day.  This free event, sponsored by the Franklin Hampshire Regional Employment Board, will teach students about the medical setting and health care careers.  If interested, please sign up in the Guidance Office and get a permission slip.  Seats are limited, so the first sixteen students in Grades 10 or 11 to return their permission slip may attend.                                                                                                                 (Ms. Mandile)

 

 

Y-Nights at the Greenfield YMCA will take place on Saturdays, January 21, February 4, and February 18.  This is for 7th and 8th graders.  These are all new Y-Nights with new entertainment, better sound and lights, and new music.  There will be raffle prizes, giveaways, basketball, dodgeball, rock climbing, and much more.  Any questions, call the Y at 773-3646.
