No TV news for the first few days of semester two as new video students get trained on the equipment, but, we’ll be back soon. Thanks for your support! (Mr. Merrick)
Seniors – please remember to check the website for scholarships and their deadlines. The deadline is fast approaching for the Hood Scholarships (February 1st) which is open to senior athletes with a 3.0 GPA. There are other scholarships that will expire in February as well as new ones that have been added to the list. If you have any questions, please stop by Guidance.

Seniors – the following scholarships are now available both online and in the Guidance Office. The Szawlowski Farms Agricultural Foundation 2012 Scholarship, the F.W. Wells Scholarship, and the Right Start Custom Computer Specialists Scholarship. (Mrs. Siwicki)
Attention Drama Club! There will be a Drama Club Meeting on Friday, January 27th. This will be a short but important meeting for all students who wish to be a part of the spring production.
Meet in Ms. Valle’s classroom, right after school. The meeting should run under a half hour.

Are you ready for some football??? The Apollo Team can help to prepare you. We are currently taking Hillside Pizza and Cookie Dough orders. The sale ends TODAY. You will be able to pick up your order – just in time for the Super Bowl – on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Frontier Middle School Entrance from 2:15 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. The proceeds will support the Apollo trip to Gettysburg in June. See any Apollo student to place your order. (Mrs. Wozny)
Attention Grades 10-12: The deadline to purchase tickets to the semi-formal on Saturday,
January 28th, has been extended to lunch on Friday, January 27th. Tickets are $ 10.00. Remember, if you are bringing someone who is not a Frontier student in grades 10-12 you must get approval for the guest BEFORE the dance. (Mrs. Wozny)

Attention Middle Schoolers! The AP Government class will be hosting a Valentine’s Day dance in the cafeteria on Friday, February 10th, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. We will have music and plenty of food! The cost is $ 5.00 with your school ID, and $ 7.00 without it.

Applications are now available in the Guidance Office for Baystate Franklin Medical Center’s Doctor For A Day Program, which will take place on Tuesday, April 10th. The deadline for applications to be returned to your Guidance Counselor is February 15th. This program is open to high school juniors and seniors. To learn more about what it involves, stop by Guidance and look at the program outline. (Mrs. Siwicki)
The Ski Club trip to Mount Snow on the 29th has been postponed. We will be going on
March 4th instead. The fee for members of the club or team is $ 55.00, and for others it is
$ 62.00. Please see Mr. Blinder for a permission slip. (Mr. Blinder)
