<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">The results of the 14<sup>th</sup> annual High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling are in.  This year, 435 teams representing institutions from around the world participated in the 36 hour contest.  Six Frontier teams received Honorable Mentions.  Those students are:  Olivia Baronas, Meghan Hamill, Sydney Judge, Tori Whitney.  Also Emilie Cycz, Ellie Lewis, Natalie Mako, Amanda Mozea.  Also, Kelsey Abramson, Amy Hanas, Zoe McSweeney, Cassidy Stankowski.  Also, Jeff Dewey, Keegan Downie, Harry Lee, Keith Spencer.  Also, Blithe Archbald, Caylee Chunga, Amanda Lourenco, Becca Mervine.  Also, Brody Jarvis, Hannah Lee, Connor Luce, Rachael Sabol.  One group received the higher designation of Meritorious.  These students are:  Eleni Balis, Amy Hubbard, Amber Niedbala, Jack Powers.  Congratulations to all of Frontier’s Math Modeling participants.  All participants can pick up their certificates in Mr. Deane’s room.</span></span></p>

<p>Our Frontier Ski Team ended the Berkshire East season last Thursday with five strong finishes.  Jamey Tolpa and Billy Prunier had their best finishes of the season and Jack Hebert had a nice recovery on the slick slope.  Jacob Conroy ended the season ranked 18<sup>th</sup> and Sean Doyle came in at second.  In the women’s division, Alli Green finished 25<sup>th</sup>, and Alli Zera finished 32<sup>nd</sup>.  Good luck to the Ski Team today at Individuals.  We wish them well!                       (Frontier Ski Fans)</p>

<p>Attention Middle Schoolers!  The AP Government class will be hosting a Valentine’s Day dance in the cafeteria on Friday, February 10<sup>th</sup>, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:30 P.M.  We will have music and plenty of food!  The cost is $ 5.00 with your school ID, and $ 7.00 without it.</p>

<p>Y-Nights at the Greenfield YMCA will take place on Saturdays, February 4 and February 18.</p>
<p>This is for 7<sup>th</sup> and 8<sup>th</sup> graders.  These are all new Y-Nights with new entertainment, better sound and lights, and new music.  There will be raffle prizes, giveaways, basketball, dodgeball, rock climbing, and much more.  Any questions, call the Y at 773-3646.                     (Mr. Garappolo)</p>
